MEET ME IN VENICE (ON ITALIAN PAPER)
Venice, for me, was best explored by aimlessly wandering the narrow alleyways and canals. With every turn was a hidden surprise and a beautiful scene. Glossy black gondolas, rimmed with shiny gold detailing, lined distressed brick walls, covered in greenery and old age. Square tablecloths, topped with white linens, sat on tiled floors, that rang suitcase wheels as they hurried by. Wooden doors and windows opened straight to blue waters, because Venice was simply a city without streets or cars. It was, might I say, aesthetically pleasing, pushing me to illustrate one of the most unique cities we’ve ever visited.
Details: Original artwork, hand-illustrated on Italian paper, 4.75 x 4.75 inch artwork in a 7.25 x 7.25 frame, limited edition.
