Getting hospitalized in India…
So, our trip to India did NOT go as planned haha. Let me rewind all the way back to the start of our two-week trip, when we were bright-eyed, bushy-tailed, and full of life, flying over to Qatar for our two-day layover in Doha.
New year, new dreams–
January always brings an interesting mix of emotions to the table. It’s the month where we spend countless hours dreaming about what all the year could be, and the infinite options and paths can be both inspiring and overwhelming.

At the end of every year, we fall into a very reflective state, and for the last couple of months, we’ve been thinking back on our 2024 and envisioning what hopes and dreams we wish to fulfill in 2025.

As the mountains rained autumn leaves and acorns all around us, we welcomed friends and family from all over into the warmth of our little home.

For the last month or so, Chad and I have been staring at the large world map in our living room, looking at where all we’ve gone and what parts of the world we still long to visit.
Thoughts on the loneliness epidemic and working with a tourism board…
Our travel YouTube business brought us back to Germany this past September, where we had the chance to explore Wiesbaden, Cologne, Dusseldorf, and the middle Rhine River Valley, all thanks to the National German Tourism Board.
When travel goes sour…
To wrap up the summer season, we chose to explore bits of Central and Eastern Europe, flying to the sunny shores of Croatia at the very start of August.
We’ve moved to our dream home in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains–
Over the summer, we sold our first house in Chattanooga after living in it for two years and moved out to the quiet countryside. Living in a more rural setting has always been a big dream of mine (Claire), and when we came across this new home of ours, we knew it was time to relocate and start anew.
