RAIN DANCE BANDANA

On a breezy morning in Northern Thailand, we sat in the sunlight and tied a long lengths of white fabric with chopsticks and rubber-bands. Once we were done, we submerged them into an all-natural dye bath, letting a soft sepia color slowly infuse the woven threads. When it was time to wash the excess dye out, we revealed two stunning designs: one which I like to call, the “Garden Grid,” and the other, the “Rain Dance.”

The Rain Dance Bandana is playful and sporadic. It resembles the gentle pitter-patter of rain on water and the mesmerizing ripples it creates. Wear this bandana in your hair while you do yard work or stroll the local farmer’s market. Use this bandana to wrap sandwiches for a weekend picnic at the park. Tie this bandana around your dog’s neck as a stylish accessory. The possibilities for this single cloth are endless!

Details: Naturally hand-dyed and hand-sewn bandana, approximately 18.25 inches x 18.25 inches, limited edition.
