The front of the shirt features our brand logo, an arch with two flying arctic terns. The arctic tern was specially chosen to represent us and our travel brand for the following reasons:
The arctic tern’s migration is the longest of any animal on Earth (per year).
Arctic terns mate for life.
Arctic terns migrate in search of summer sunlight.
Arctic terns can bounce around every continent instead of flying in a straight line back home.
Scientists have learned that arctic terns fly thousands of miles out of their way to take advantage of the best weather and get the best food.
The back of the shirt features a fun, one-of-a-kind design, inspired by natural elements that are important to the lifecycle of the arctic tern. The sun illustrates how the bird migrates to follow warmer weather and brighter days. The water and the fish implies how the bird forages over streams, ponds, lakes, and oceans. The foliage indicates how the bird is present and significant in almost all regions around the world. The mountains signify how the bird encounters a wide variety of terrain during its global journey. Together, it all represents the courage it takes to step out of a comfort zone to truly experience the world and the fearlessness for anyone and everyone who “dares to travel.”
